Starting a New Small Group
The following guidelines will help you start a new group:
- Contact Pastor Paul Marzahn to register your group and fill out a facts sheetÂ
- Attend Small Group Leader Training
- Pray and make a list of those you plan to invite to your new group
- Choose your study material from existing church resources or get approval from Pastor Paul or Pastor Phil
- Choose a date, time and location for your group and check with Brett Holland, Facilities Director for building availability
- Contact Shari Wassell, Communications Director to arrange announcements and advertising
- Begin your new group!
- Create a group covenant that states the group's purpose, goals & boundaries that will establish confidentiality, respect & support.
Remeber that snacks are a big part of fellowship!
(But hopefully not everyone will eat as much as Brent Wassell, pictured at left!)
