Walking Across The Room
What if you knew that by simply walking across the room and saying hello to someone you could change their life forever? Just a few steps could help you make an eternal difference. By venturing outside your comfort zone you may be able to help another person draw closer to God. Bill Hybels of Willow Creek Community Church wrote a book called Just Walk Across The Room . Hybels encourages persons to live in “3 – D.” We are to:Develop Friendships, Discover Stories, Discern Appropriate Next Steps of Discipleship.
CROSSROADS since the beginning with four people in a living room has been a church that encourages evangelism. We believe that at the core of being a disciple of Jesus Christ it is our calling to reach out in love and acceptance. We developed a strategy of evangelism called our SIX STEP PROCESS. During July and August we will be looking at ways we all need to get outside our comfort zones to engage others with the good news of Jesus. We will be challenging each person to think of three persons they can invite at the end of the summer to our neighborhood block party.
