Our Ministry (what we do and offer) Our ministry is not just to prepare youth for future involvement, but to help them find meaningful ways to be involved now. We do not see our youth as the future of the church, but as the present church. As God reminds us in His Word in regards to youth: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” - 1 Timothy 4:12 At CROSSROADS CHURCH youth are welcomed and encouraged to participate in all aspects of church life (worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and evangelism) so that these become the primary purposes of their everyday lives. School, clubs, sports, and other forms of recreating for youth can all be good things, but only a close, personal relationship with Jesus Christ can satisfy their spiritual hunger. Gathering youth together within the CROSSROADS community draws them closer to God and allows them to see more closely examples of His everlasting love. Weekly Fellowship & Bible Time CROSSTRAINING CROSSTRAINING for youth in 5th to 12th grade involves worship, sharing of highs and lows, prayer, fellowship, games, and relevant Biblical study and discussion. We meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8PM. LAST MEETING IS MAY 21ST UNTIL NEXT FALL! Confirmation Confirmation for our 9th and 10th grade youth allows for them to get grounded in God’s Word and get closer to Him through a relationship with Jesus Christ. It meets Sunday mornings during the school year from 9:30 - 10:30 AM in the music room at CROSSROADS Church. Church Plus On Sunday mornings, we have a time for our 5th-8th grade youth to "dig deeper" into the message and discuss how it applies specifically to their lives. This meets in the office from 9:30-10:30. | Special Events Typically, each month all youth can experience a special event outside of our recurring events which promote 1) spiritual growth, 2) outreach, 3) service projects, 4) fundraising, and 5) fun and fellowship.
